Newcastle part company with Hughton

Absurd, we're doing well this season.

Considering we've spent virtually no money and have a worse squad now than the one that took us down (with the exception being Carroll), 11th at this point is a lot better than i had expected.

Considering where we are with the squad we have 11th in the Premiership after being promoted is good. I would really love to know what goes through Ashley's head at times :(

My theory - Mike Ashley is a secret Sunderland fan & is having the time of his life screwing around with NUFC.
 
11th isnt exactly bad considering the lack of money they spent when they came up.
Sacking Hughton is just incredible...what manager is going to take the job now. I cant think of any good managers out there with no job. O'Neil wont go there because he knows its a 'poisoned chalice'.
 
What a bizarre and nonsensical decision :confused: Not only has Hughton done a good job but its not like there's an excess of available managers on the market, very strange.
 
I feel really sorry for CH, he's done nothing wrong at all and actually had them over performing at times!

It is exactly things like this why people don't have any sympathy for Newcastle any more, they are not seen as "likeable underdogs" due to crap like this.

I hope they rot without him.
 
Saw this earlier stupid decision from Newcastle. Seems a lot of the fans aren't happy with it either, It would be understandable if they were in the relegation zone heh.

Don't lump the fans in with the muppets up top. We hate them as much as everyone else Hughton deserves much better

Chris got this team back into the Premiership they are currently ELEVENTH and yet they still decide to sack him? There is no respect or appreciation left in the game.

I think this is a terrible decision - a rolling stone gathers no moss and a pasty munching owner of a rolling stone gathers none either.
