So now that the basics for my new rig are complete with my recently installed 8800GTS (lengthly upgrade from 4400x2 to C2D and 7-series to 8-series gpu) I'm looking for something else to do.
I'm considering getting another 2gb of Ballistix 5300 for a total of 4gb. Or, selling my current CPU and a couple 160gb hard drives and putting the money toward a q6600 g0.
I'm wondering which will get me the best improvement right now? I'm running Vista Ultimate 64-Bit and have noticed that my memory usage is always between 92-95% while playing ET:QW and can sometimes feel the puter swapping....so I'm wondering if perhaps this has to do with pagefile settings or if I'll be better off getting another 2gb. I would imagine that both ET:QW and Crysis would benefit from 4gb? Also, just out of curiousity, would another 2gb affect my 3dmark06 score?
Additionally, I was wondering if I will be forced to slack off my latencies if I do get another 2gb?
