Nexus 5 2015 refresh

What phone is this? Bezel is non-existent. Pic url mentions nex 6 but it can't be? Bezel is much thicker than that.

That image looks like a photoshopped Chinese phone advert. They make the bezels look tiny by increasing the screen real estate to fool you into buying it :p

Edit. That r7 plus looks amazing. Well done to oppo for the design.

Agreed, the R7 Plus (and R7) looks gorgeous, and a strong contender all-round but for one thing - a rear-facing speaker in 2015, really?

I get that some think that using the speakers for media is selfish, and it would be on public transport I suppose*, but you know what's worse - having a speaker that points at everyone except the viewer. I mean even Samsung have stopped doing it!

* Not all of us use public transport, and for a sneaky Youtube video at home while the wife is watching random crap on the box, front-facing speakers are good, OK.

I don't mind the bezels although it could've been a tad smaller. Initial reports make out the N5 2015 to be the same height size as the OPO.

I like to know more about the battery and memory configurations before making a decision on this but so far so good.

I don't mind the bottom bezel. It's likely to add weight to the bottom of the phone which keeps it more secure in the hand when you hold the phone in a natural position. I prefer phones with more weight at the bottom. Having said that the top bezel is just as big so overall it could be quite unwieldy.

It seems like everybody in the world is waiting for a decent 5.2"-ish phone to come out so hopefully they have enough supply to meet demand for this.

Unfortunately google don't have a decent rep regarding smartphone releases. I managed to get a nexus 4 for the gf on the day of release but we didn't see another batch until a couple of months later, after christmas.

I want to see how it looks with all the bits and pieces in place.

Ah, there we go

That looks crap :(

Take the top and bottom bezels and remove half of the material there and it would look like a true upgrade rather than a cheap Moto looking knockoff

I hope they do a red one again.

Been using a refurbed nexus 5 for the past week and love it. Battery life is a bit of an enigma but overall experience with vanilla lolipop is excellent and reaffirms my stance on nexus 5 2015 or moto x style as being my next purchase.

Any confirmation on the battery in the 2015 N5?

The plus points of my current N5 are wearing thin now that the battery life has gone from inconvenient to being a right PITA. The Moto X Play is waiting in the wings if Google fail to provide something 3500mah or above...
