Weirdly my shutter button is transparent when in video mode but not in camera mode.

because videos are shot in 16:9.

Having some problems with my Nexus 5 and barely charging - any ideas?

USB and AC both seem to produce the same horrifically slow results and last nights ~6 hours on charge saw it go from 35% to 75% - that ain't right!

All the usual options are off (location, BT, Google Now) but I'm at a loss with this one. Tried rebooting it/force stopping all the apps but still no luck!

Trying an external battery pack just now but not confident....

Try charing with the phone off and see how that goes, it could be some google service gone rouge or anything.

Is there any way to change pics to 16:9? I swear they were on my S3 as the pics used to fit my desktop without much work...

Charged nicely off the external even while on. Likely dud mains charger I think. Shall fund another one somewhere in the house!

Only if you use a 3rd party camera app IIRC. Not on stock.

Stated before. Get it from Google unless a massive saving as the warranty is honoured by Google direct only if you order from the play store. They did a next day swap for me. Worth it IMO

For the sake of £10 or so it is not worth buying from anywhere other than Google directly... and you could save a lot of hassle later, as posted above!

If you get it from Amazon directly, they'll do the same thing.

But if Google is cheaper, obviously get it from them.

Sorry but Amazon do the best warranty in the land

Within 12 months you can even get a full refund if a fault occurs with the phone.

There's a reason why I shop soo much at Amazon.

Can't comment on Amazon, but I am sure they do as well. The likes of carphone warehouse will send away for repair to LG I know that much.

Amazon have always been fantastic with swapping faulty electronics for me.

When my S4 died they sent me a new one next day delivery, and included a free shipping label to send the old one back with.

When a product we bought failed a year and a half after we purchased it, they refunded us.
