Google will design the phone, Samsung are just the company that will manufacture it, I dont think there is anything to worry about.
O yeah true enough actually, thank god for that

, although would Samsung not have some input into it as well. Also the nexus 1 looks very much like a HTC mobile (pretty much similar to the desire), in terms of the buttons, the material even looks the same.
Hopefully they will keep a similar design to the nexus 1 as well
Interesting

battery life shouldn't be too bad... A9s are supposed to have better power management + 1 core can switch off etc. The screen could kill it though?
(+ it might explain why they didn't slap an Orion in the Galaxy Tab...)
Hmmm, yeah. If they do use SAMOLED (most probably will), it shouldn't be as bad as the desire HD

, although doesn't the AMOLED screens use more power when displaying bright colours, I think.
So close to xmas, they're must be something hard to view somewhere. You can't release this information in the middle of Q4 and tool up for production in time for xmas. surely
Yeah I know, really would like to see some videos and pics, all will be revealed on November the 8th along with some video by google for gingerbread no doubt
perhaps you got confused when they announced they wont be selling the nexus as a lot of people assumed this meant they wont be making them either.
No, that's right what you said about the nexus 1, but they did also mention that they wouldn't be making a nexus 2 either, cause there first one did want they wanted it to, which was pretty much increase the popularity of the android OS:
http://www.knowyourmobile.com/blog/...529521/there_will_be_no_google_nexus_two.html
Plus there are a few more articles stating pretty much the same thing on Google somewhere
Also apparently this might be the new animation for locking the screen on gingerbread:

Looks kind of cool, a bit like in Terminator 2 at the end, when the red vision cuts out
