Good stuff :D Interesting to see who we get this time round, least the Giants have proved it doesn't do your season any harm!

Lessons do need to be learnt from last year though first one being that shocking Wembley field!! Don't know if growing the grass longer would help or not?

Could also do with the game being played earlier in the season as well to give a chance for better weather but England have got a home World cup qualifier on October the 10th and I seriously don't think they'll want an NFL game on the pitch before that again after the Croatia fiasco!

Interesting chat with the guy who runs NFL's UK operation on atm during the Pats V Chargers game.

Jumped the gun by saying it would be Wembley that is NOT certain yet, according to him it's going to be either Wembley, Murrayfield or Cardiff hosting the game.

The home team is going to be one of four teams: Tampa Bay, New Orleans, Kansas or Seattle thats not the four teams who the match is going to be between it's one of those who will be the home team.

Great news and hopefully the Pats will venture over here, complete with the Superbowl trophy.:D

sadly it looks unlikely :( guy in charge of nfl uk or whatever is on sky sports 2 atm and said its unlikely they'll get the pats for 2008

edit: bah beaten by Ned who remembered everything far better then i had :p

Yeah, I saw that, gutted.

Let's get to the bowl then and win it, that might make up for the disappointment a bit.;)

Why do you want the pats over, no point watching pats matches, there's no competition anymore. Needs to be better balanced than this seasons one as Dolphins suck all kinds of ass but watching the Pats is kinda like letting Ronaldo play against a blind paraplegic. it's just not a fun match to watch. Much rather have somet half decent mid table as it looks like it's going to be.

The simple reason is that I've been a fan since our 1986 loss to Chicago in the Superbowl and never seen them.

You might get your wish, the matchup will be officially announced on Friday but rumour has it that it will be the Saints V San Diego at Wembley on October 26th

Good matchup that would be with some of the NFL's star players (Bush, Brees, Rivers, Tomlinson, Mcallister if fit)

No idea on how ticketing is going to be done this year but i'd imagine something similar to last year which was registering to be in the ballot around the superbowl which is when the NFL gets most publicity over here every year.

and me - special treat for my 30th :)

i was lucky enough to get tickets for the last game - absolutely fantastic experience, didn't get close enough to the cheerleaders though which was a touch disappointing :p

Fingers crossed :).
I wish they would play further up north though! I.e. Man U stadium... it would be a ball ache travelling down there! Not going to happen though :o

They ain't coming anywhere near Old Trafford after what they did to the Wembley pitch last year! :p

It amazes me how many people over here actually enjoy this sport, I personally find it dull as watching paint dry. I'm curious as to how people in the UK got into watching this sport? Do you ever play it?

I don't play it, as there is hardly any teams at a resonable distance near me. I've been watching it for around 7ish years. Got into the game from playing Madden way back when. Then I gradually became hooked on the sport and supported the Saints.
I find it much more interesting than footy. Oh yes... lets just trip over a blade of grass and cry till I get some magic water and/or free kick. That game aggrivates me.
