A lil while ago i owned an NF7 V2 -S, and i loved that board :), but since then ive upgraded to a 64 machine and brought a VIA chipset :(.
The nforce 2 chipset offered me dolby digital live which enabled me to connect up to my AV amplifier at home, this was on the abit board obviously, and also with the nforce 2 chipset I had, when i also owned my shuttle.

I was just wondering, does the Nforce 3 and 4 chipsets do that too?

Heres the reason for this...............................................................

Since my audigy 2 is pants and doesnt offer me what I want, i wanted to get either the voyera turtle beach mondego DLL, or that Hitech Mystique card (CURENTLY OUT OF STOCK!!!), id rather do that but since its been like that on the web site for ages im forced to change my motherboard.

But at least il get myself a better one :)
Thanks

At the moment the nearest you can get are the nForce 6150 motherboards with HD Audio. The MSI version has the Realtek 880 but not the 880D which apparently is the DDL version.

However whilst not an nForce chipset the Abit AT8 apparently will support DDL according to Abits website, all for the princely some of (£88.07 Including VAT at 17.5%) .

Right at the top shows Dolby Digital Live. Is based upon the ATI RD480/ULI1575 so no worrying about any issues with USB on the southbridge.

Abit has just been bought and commited to continue making high end boards so no worries there either. Unless you are desperate to use SLI this board looks like the one for you. You could have course always however go crossfire if you were desperate to go dual gfx card crazy.
