Heard a girl screaming outside a nightclub once.

Said to my mate "someone's having a good time".. we both chuckled and then realised it might be serious. Turned around and saw a guy straddling this girl and hitting her. Without thinking we ran over. My mate chinned the guy (out of instinct?) and I pulled him off. Police showed up about 5 minutes later, by which time the girl fled and we let the guy go.

Quite scary at the time, as no one else seemed to question the screaming

Yeah that's the one, ended up having to fix loads of permissions and reinstall his MTA and anti spam. Git could have bought me a bottle of wine or something.

the tickets on the envelope were in his name, as i mentioned, i gave back the bag to a bloke but most of the stuff belonged to his girl cousin (as i mentioned later in my post, i hoped that he/his girl cousin would do the same if the situation ever happened to them.)
