Went to see the car today... engine is out and we found a few small issues on the way out. A metal water pipe was rubbing on some metal fuel rails which would have been engine out to repair anyway. All 12 manifold bolts snapped trying to get the manifolds off and a few other small issues as well. The good news is that some of the anciliries which could be causing my problems have been sent for testing.
While I was there helping out I took a few pics:

And finally the guys thats rebuilding my engine is also rebuilding his scooby lump for big power:

I should know exactly whats up with her on monday but while it is out im getting the following done:
* exhaust bypass pipes 1" welded in.
* rms replaced
* uprated ims installed
* DMF & clutch checked for issues
* Bores checked for signs of scoring
Depending on what is wrong I may spend a little more doing some other jobs while the engine is out
