As some people may know, 12 months ago Trent gave fans a Christmas present of several hundred Gb of high definition footages from 3 shows on the Lights in the Sky tour. A group of fans got together and started the This One Is On Us project comprising of two high definition projects, one The Gift which will be a full 1080p cut of the three shows, the other Las Vegas which will be a fan edit of the Las Vegas show put together from footage compiled by fans.

They now present:

It's finally here.

Filmed in Sacramento, Portland, and Victoria by the Nine Inch Nails team, and directed, edited, and produced by their fans, The Gift is a stunning work in 1080 High Definition video with 5.1 Surround Sound, multi-language subtitles, and artistically-driven ethics.


The Gift is available in a number of formats listed here


Las Vegas will be released in one months time and a special disk of bonus features in 2 months.

S'been a superb journey getting it to final release... well worth a watch, altho tbh I'm slightly disappointed about the lack of transitions that would've fitted the fluidity of some tracks. How the crew handled the scene cuts and with what degree if inventiveness was partially what I was looking forward to. Heyho. Seeding the DL-DVD at the mo to 2000+ users...

I've done my own edit of the Portland footage as SL-DVD if anyone wants it... the SL-DVD of AVOTT isn't ready yet.

Downloaded the 9gb .mov version. Just watched it on my new Sammy in 1080p.

Really really good, loving all the free NIN stuff and looking forward to the new material next year:D

Agreed, I would have loved to have watched the Lits tour. Got to see them twice over here this year tho :D . My friend has seen then 27 times now :mad:
