does anybody on here use either of these game systems on a home wifi network.
if so how easy is it to setup?
can it be used with WEP or WPA to connect to the intrnet for online gaming?
does either of them have built in wifi capabilities?
do you need to install any other software?
any settings need to be fiddled with?

Cheers

both have wifi built in.

The DS uses 802.11b and can work with WEP
I'm not sure about the PSP but think it is similar.

As for settings on the network and sfotware it depends what your network is running at the moment, as obviously you need something to share the connection (router/software), provide the wireless connection (router/access point) and may need to change your security settings.

PSP uses 802.11b allows WEP and WPA encryption but there are reports that it can be a bit iffy with WPA depending upon your access point. Mine works fine to my Netgear DG834G.

My PSP talks to my dlink access point, cant remember the model type.
Im using WPA-PSK as well for the security with no problems.
Tis fun sitting at home streaming mp3's from my pc at work over the vpn.
