No 5850's... What alternative?

Considering the recent threads on the serious lack of 5850's...

What would be my best alternative?

Im looking at this: Gainward GTX285
Hell of a jump in price, with what seems a downgrade in performance

What do you people suggest? Thanks

Judging by your many 's im guessing you dont actually want to go down this route. Why dont you wait for stock and get something you'll actually be happy with?

Well I've changed to the Sapphire as the Asus' are a no go apparently...
Apparently I'll get my hands on one DEFINITELY next week... We'll see
