no AA in any game even from ATT !

ok this is the problem
suddenly i saw that i don't have AA when i played BF2 .....
so i checked in other games ...CS-s COD 2 ....
in the ATI TRAY TOOL it's on AA X 2 and in games i do as well X2
it always worked good ..had AA X2 in every game
now it's off ! and i donno why !
even when i choose only from the game AAx2 or just from the ATI TRAY TOOL AA X2 ...or both ......
NOTHING NO AA
so i uninstalled ....
d/l the newest OMEGA drivers 6.2 and installed the newest ver of ATI TRAY TOOL (used drivercleaner as well) .....
and STILL !!!!!!! NO AA in every game !
some 1 know how to fix this ??? (i uninstalled the drivers and the ATI TRAY TOOL) !!

2xAA doesn't actually make that much of a difference to my eyes now, as I've been using 4 and 8x for so long. Maybe you've just gotten used to AA and it doesn't seem as good?

:Edit: I reckon u should try 8x and 4x and see if that works, then u know if it isn't doing anything for sure.

I'm the same mate.

The only way i can get AA in BF2 is to force it off in ATT, and then use the ingame (crappy) AA.

I'm also on Cat 6.2 with an x800xt.

I have just changed cards from Nvidia to ATI. I have noticed that with the ATI card I have to have AA enabled in games and disabled in the drivers. The Nvidia card on the other hard was the other way round.

2xAA in bf is poor with the ATI. It looks to me like 4 times(in game) for the ATI card is same as 2x for the Nvidia card. Looks like it anyway,.not saying its true.

OzZie but i tried shutting off in ATI TRAY TOOLD and make X2
AA jsut in BF2 .....
didn't work

and zefan ...belive me it's witout AA !
shut off your AA and see ** freaking out ...belive me AA x2 is enough at list for me and belive me it's witout AA and i didn't "just gotten used to AA"

hmmmmmmm,,,,,,,,

it's GOT TO DO with the registry.....
(that's why i think after RE-INSTALL and use other drivers even ' didn't solve the problem)

how do i shut down that CP ??...it must be a conflict thing !...i donno..
