Well.

Sometimes when I boot up my PC, it goes through the regular boot up, and after it goes through the Starting Windows screen, the display goes black and I get no output on my monitor. The PC is still running, but no display. After a manual reboot, I get the message that Windows has failed to start. Then, when I get into Windows, I find that my Blue Snowball ICE isn't working, and that it has a yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager (Error 10 - failed to start). After unplugging and plugging the microphone back in, it all works fine, even for multiple boots of the PC after that. However, sometimes the problem will occur, and sometimes the PC will have "No Display" on my monitor for about 10 seconds, then suddenly spring into life, giving the same problem when I get into Windows.

Any suggestions?

I haven't tried booting without my Blue Snowball, as I kinda use it every day on Skype. This problem occurs randomly, with the delayed boot happening sometimes, and the failed boot happening rarely.

be sure to run latest motherboard bios and usb3 drivers

it could be bios bug with the mic idk yet, might be worth emailing gigabyte uk and tell them so thay can test, include it in the bios

seems like usb startup detection issue

Alright, I'll send an email. I am running the latest BIOS and usb3 drivers, just to confirm. Is there an email address I can actually send to, or is there some ticket submitting system?

theres an email I think, last time I checked,
can also test it in different usb ports ect idk if you have any usb2 but try those aswell

Okay, so I'm still having this problem. I've tried reinstalling the drivers for my Blue Snowball, but the exact same problem keeps occuring. I've no idea what to do next.
