No option for 144hz, what have I done wrong!

have you selected it in windows? click the advanced settings in screen resolution and that menu pops up select monitor tab and select it from drop down menu, if i mind right thats what i had to do. if it is that, that is.

Tried both but no joy.

I fear my DP>DVI cable isnt up to the job.

I might return this monitor and get one that will have a Display Port.

Without an expensive active adaptor you probably won't get the bandwidth from DP to DVI to run it at 144Hz - I'd definitely return it for something else if you don't have native DVI-D output.

Yeah much to my frustration this is what I've found out after some research.

It's my fault for not looking into it more before clicking buy.

have you enabled it on the monitor itself as i had to change a setting on the monitor on both my predators for windows to see the extra hz.

in nvidia control panel - are you selecting the resolution that comes under the heading "Ultra HD / HD / SD" or "PC"?
my monitor only shows 144Hz under the PC 1920x1080 option.

but yea probably a cable issue otherwise.
