So, I recently got a VTX3d 6870X2 graphics card, and its great... except for at bootup. When I turn it on, the monitors just give out 'no signal'. I have to hold down the power button on the PC to power it down, then turn it back on and it works. I'This is highlighted by the recent overclocking I've been doing with my new ram. Turn the PC on, overclocking failed warning. Go into bios, change the settings, restart, no signal. Force it to power down, turn back on, overclock failed, rince and repeat. But even when going back to the stock clocks and rebooting I still get no signal until I turn it off and on again.

Any idea what could be causing this?

is the card definately seated securly, and are all the power connections to it secure ?

that psu should be enough but it does sound like some sort of power issue, as initially it gets a bit of power to it, then the power off/on kicks it into action by giving it the extra bit of power it needs.

I'll try removing and replacing it then. The end's also fairly heavy so the card is drooping a bit. I'll try and use some cable ties or something to hook the end up as well, can't hurt. Thanks for the pointers.
