No text tone on iphone?....

Got my Iphone 3g on Friday absalutly great aprat from not getting a text tone when i recieve a text......

Anyone know anything about this?

seems to be just tri tone that does not work......if i change it to glass or something then its fine.

yes i have updated, kind of did it when i was registering phone on itunes. If i restore, does it just restore and re-synce straight away or will i have to redo anything?

bit of a pani in the ass, but workable. Anyone else heard of this happening?

Not going to say much, but i think a simple restart may of fixed it......
