Nochex - What do you think?

Hi all

Was wondering what people though of nochex as i was just about to join.

Is it any good?

I heard that there are a few probs with ebay if you only use nochex, or is there ways including bank transfer etc?
 
They seemed like a honest and decent version of Paypal, but I tried to use my account the other day after not using it for a while to find it locked. They wanted me to jump through a load of hoops to get it going again, it was easier to just open a new account, lucky I didn't have any money in it.

While I was trying to sort it out I had a look in the forums, theres a load of unhappy people there accusing them of going the same way as Paypal.

I think there was a variety of gripes, I don't remember the specifics but it left a less than favourable impression. It came as a surprise to be honest, I looked in their forum some time ago and everything was sweetness and light.

It didn't stop me using them, but then I despise PayPal and use them regularly.

Been a long while since I've seen anyone request payment by nochex. They seem to have deleted my account from years ago.
 
i have been reading a lot of good views from google search though, paypal seems to be getting a lot of bad reviews from people losing money and that they are not too secure and are not the best with customer support, also i saw that they keep 3.5% also, but paypal is much cheaper.

Can anyone verify this?
 
If you are going to buy or sell on ebay, you need paypal. Or rather, you don't NEED it but it's a damn sight easier. Not having it will put most buyers off.
 
yes that is what i was thinking, is nochex's set up just like paypal and does anyone know how many days it takes to add money to your bank from nochex?
