I use both fans as quiet one, under 1,000rpm in a push-pull and overclock 4.00ghz with excellent temperature of around 74C with my room temperature of 23C and the motherboard cpu temp was reading only 48C !

This isn't bad for both fans set to very very quiet and all fans on antec 1200 is turned low and off.

Temps are pretty good, pretty similair to mine at 4ghz with a pair of 400-1200 rpm pwm fans on a lapped TRUE black, incidentally my core 0 is always the highest on mine by 2-3c.

I know it only done 3 times on linx stress but it been passed 20 times twices with stable but after 3 times I know the highest temperature is around 77C not bad eh ? CPU temp on the motherboard is 50C! not bad eh ? Quite happy with the result! Better than fans of 1400 - 1900 rpm which it quite noisey!

Nice one mate! :)

I wish core 0 is the same temperature as core 3! But, it never is! I dunno why ?

Cheers bulldog, i could maybe lower them if i swapped to a couple of 2000 rpm fans i have and run them from my fan controler, but it would mean tearing my whole rig apart again to swap fans around.

Hmmmm not bad at 78C degrees and cpu temp still at 50C. All passed after 20 passes on linx for the 3rd times, and it stable pc! Quite happy with the result:

Why is CPUID Hardware Monitor Pro showed as 73C, 73C, 72C and 71C compare to realtemp showed as 78C, 76C, 75C and 74C! Even thought that CPUID Hardware Monitor Pro does matched the motherboard software easytune6 as motherbard, cpu and north bridge temperatures as spot on !!

Not sure on the temp differences bulldog, but can i ask you this, on your first LinX screen above your memory usage is at 4096, in your secnd 3382, same as mine, when i select 4096, problem size at 23118 the cpu load doesn seem to rise from idle use?

I got no problem to ran problem size at 23118 and can use memory ram of 4096 as I do have 6gb of ram. I had no problem with it full stress at 20 times once and passed it ok.

Very strange here mate, if i select 4096 memory the cpu load doesnt move from idle at all? Also on 6gb of ram.

How odd strange is that ! I was wondering what is the new Noctua NH-D14 is like on full stress ? (probably around 2 degrees less ?)

I wish OCUK have these NH-D14 in stock soon !

It certainly cools well from any reviews and user opinions ive seen, however due to its size its very impractical. Definitely a no no on my system as im using ocz reaper ram, at least with my TRUE black i still have space if i ever upgrade to 12gb.

Yeah very true, it will also block my patriot viper memory on the second ram slot! Well said setter! Cheers!

A good 9 degrees better from my own findings :). It's a few degrees less than your own NH-U12P but I remember you use less volts on your i7 than I do.

Relatively speaking though the NH-D14 is much better than the NH-U12P and the Prolimatech Megahalem. I have a TRUE that needs testing to see how that compares as well.

I had open the windows in my computer room only with the door remain shut. Outside temperature is -10C! Room temperature is 0C! Overclocked full stress 4.0Ghz with linx of 22 passed with problem size at 23118 and select memory at 4096. The motherboard system temperature is remain at 25C, cpu temperature remain at 35C, North Bridge temperature remain at 36C and the gpu temperature remain at 30C. The real temp is quite good at no more 61C, 59C, 59C and 57C! And using both fans of 1344rpm and 1313rpm in a push pull with NH-U12P cpu cooler! It quite freezing room but quite fun!

Here is the result of both compares between freezing and warm temperature room:

This one above is freezing temperature room at 0C!

This one above is warm temperature room at 23C!
