Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 - Fan controller?

I'm looking at a Noctua NH-U12P to cool my new i7 build. I notice it comes with wires which slow the speed of the fans.

Initially I'll be running the CPU at the stock 2.66Ghz. Would using the slowest fan speeds cool the CPU well enough (isntalled in a Lancool Dragon Lord Case)

In the past I've used a fan controller. I don't mind using one again but if the supplied speed control wires are a good alrernative I'm happy to use them.

My guess is, probably yes.

The Noctua NH-U12P in a push/pull configuration running at the lower speed of 900rpm on an i7 CPU running at stock will be fine - especially in a large ventilated case.
