With nod32 business, you have a central server that downloads the updates for you, which feeds the other machines in the office

If a user has a laptop and works from home, will it download the updates itself without extra configuration? IE, if it can't see the central server, it helps itself to the eset updates..

Thanks

I would imagine so. It would have the local update server set as primary with eset own servers as a backup if it gets no responce.

If the user is working from home will they be using VPN connection? If they are then it will update as normal via the local server when their machine is connected and logged in over the VPN.
