What are people's thoughts on this phone? It seems pretty good from the specification, and it's free on o2. Has anyone got any personal experience of one?

On the face of it it looks pretty good, decent camera, expansion card slot, GPS, nice screen. It's a Nokia, which I like. I wouldn't use the camera facing forwards, but I guess that that's good too :p

I have used my mates and they feel very cheap, the plastic on the front feels awful when texting.

I would advise trying one in a shop before purchasing.

Im happy with mine, dropped it plenty of times in the last couple of months and its still ticking along!

You can feel its quite cheaply made, but i dont mind it and happily text on it! (:

Don't get it.

I was looking to get it for an upgrade last year, and after doing a lot of research, 90% of reviews basically said the build quality sucked realllly bad.

One to miss.

I have this phone.

Excellent features, and is often overlooked because of it's somewhat apparent lacking in compared with the N95. A lot of people say it's quite similar to the N95 features wise, and really there's not a lot in it hardware wise either. The main failing of the 6220 is it's lack of wifi.

I've had mine for 3 months, and it's wearing well. I've used it to play through several GBA games via emulation software, and it's taken quite a hammering from that.

Battery life is a bit pants - I'm not a heavy user and I need to charge it every other day.

Build quality wise it is a bit flimsy, with the buttons feeling like you could easily pop them off with your fingernail. The general feel of the phone is ok, just cheap.

Depending on what else is on offer, it's a good bet if you can put up with the lightweight plasticness of it.
