Thought this may be of use to someone.

Nokia Braille Reader gives SMS for the blind and visually impaired. It captures received SMS messages and brings them to the foreground for reading using Braille and tactile feedback.

Compatability

An interesting idea. not sure how practical it would be but, hopefuly will help some people.

Surely morse code would be quicker. That looks really slow having to go through 6 beeps for 1 letter.

Also where you don't have to be silent, text to speech would be quicker.
