Nokia N95, Providers locking services?

Ok, so im about to either upgrade, or get a new contract...

I want to get the full out of my N95 and i didnt want to go into any contract where there going to lock me out of using certain features...

VoIP anyone?

disabled on vodafone and orange models. Works fine on o2 and t-mobile. Not available on 3 yet

From what ive read, the only noticable disabled feature is the VOIP thing, but you can get around that with a 3rd party VOIP app. Correct me if im wrong there though. .
