The suicide rate is so high due to the way they are treated (they are not treated with dignity and respect, often by their own families, and are vilified in the media), they are also denied procedures to transition or it's made very difficult for them. The only happy trans people I've seen are those who have transitioned not those who have been treated as though it were a mental health problem.

Rubbish, this just sounds like a cope to me.

btw, respect is earned and not given freely, otherwise it's meaningless.

We live in a strange world where the Labour Party now has more in common with the likes of Jeff Bezos and George Soros than they do with life long Labour voters. They see middle aged life long Labour voters as "far right" and the free movement of Labour, Capital and Goods (EU) as a virtue. Keir Hardie would be turning in his grave at the thought of these people who dare to call themselves Socialists.

Agreed. Labour advocates for remaining in the EU ( which is a neoliberal project ), but Labour voters nowadays ( ethnic groups, white middle class liberals, lgbt , and young people ) are too stupid to understand that socialism and neoliberalism CANNOT go hand in hand. Labour is finished.

Weve left. How can they advocate that we remain in the EU? What a load of nonsense your whole post is.

I think we may be starting to see why the free movement of goods and labour is a good idea. Bezos and Soros. What a strange world your head lives in.

"Flash photography is really dangerous for people who have epilepsy and yet it continues throughout this conference".

Just wtf lol, flash photography does not trigger seizures in >99.9% of people with Epilepsy. How much more uninformed can you get.

She's got the right idea though, journalists should stop giving this party exposure via photography.

Sadly I'm beginning to wonder if Blair ever gave a xxxxx about anything and just used the labour party as a route to power that he could exploit,.
This current lot have no idea how to achieve anything. Even if it was for selfish reasons, they couldn't get elected.

English politics is really in a hopeless place at the moment.

And yet here we are, with all same problems out of the EU as we had before, plus several more big problems. Judging by your post, you seem eager to judge Labour voters. Can't stand to be told that you may be wrong about something?

Do you believe that voters who opt for other political parties are somehow more intelligent? You include 'ethic groups' as Labour voters, seems like a pretty basic point of view to me.

So when you meet someone for the first time do you not treat them with respect as they haven't earned it yet or do you like the vast majority actually treat them with respect despite them having done nothing to earn it and they only loose your respect if they do something to justify it? Lets be honest your silly old saying should really say 'continuing respect is earned not given'?

That phrase means you just pretend to respect people you've just met, whilst secretly judging them for any perceived flaws :D

Just don't be knobhead when you meet people? You don't have to respect someone to be kind and considerate. You can be respectful depending on the circumstances, but being trans isn't one of those circumstances.

Define respect when it come to Trans people? clearly it's not treating them the same as everybody else, they want special treatment. Everyone needs to alter their behaviour to protect their fragile delusion, to identify as a gender they're clearly not, to be labeled as whatever pronoun they choose, and be offended by anything gender related.

I'll treat them the same as everyone else, if they offended by that then it's their problem, I won't lose sleep over it. :)

Also, we know pedophiles are taking advantage of situation in countries where they've gone too far, giving trans-woman assess to womans bathrooms puts children at risk, trans-woman have even gone to womans jails and raped woman. Sex offenders often get off with light sentences if they claim to "transitioning".
