Non-muslim terrorists?

As muslims only account for 20% of terrorism, I was wondering what Christian and other belief terrorists there are and why they are not widely reported in the media?

This thread http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17686224 is a prime example of terrorism on our soil, not just delinquency IMHO, peoples lives have been put in danger. Scum :mad:

Sikh's give the Indians a rough ride I believe. Not 100% sure.

I guess there'd be more coverage of other faith based terrorists if we'd invaded their countries and bombed them back to the stone age with a bit of shock and awe.

I'm certain the IRA got plenty of coverage in their heyday though. I don't see the point in making such a big deal (reporting wise) over terrorism anyway. In my daily life the list of things more important to me and my livelihood than terrorism is as long as my arm.

Source for the 20% thing? Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka have carried out more suicide bombings than anyone else (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tamil_Tiger#Suicide_bombing).

IRA is an army based on an ideal. One of the most professional armies in the world when it was in it's prime before they got disarmed and they allowed that **** McGuiness into Sinn Fein.

Don't get me started on him.

Both the IRA, English Govt. and UVF etc are all wrong. I say we break away from both Ireland and England, and become a separate Kingdom. I propose Atlantis as the name.

1) terrorism isn't "fighting back"

2) I do not believe that 'we' did anything to their country, although you haven't mentioned who 'we' are.

3) If you think the situation is that simple in Ireland you are sorely mistaken.

Maybe not! But in the highly unlikely event that I'm gonna be blown up today, it's more than likely gonna be a muslim. There's a greater chance of me stepping out in front of a bus, but that wouldn't be news, because it happens all the time. Terrorism in this country virtually never happens, so it's more newsworthy I guess.

All that they want is for the British to go home - it IS that simple

They don't want part of Ireland to follow British rules or to be associated with the United Kingdom. To be honest i'd rather that they woke up and saw that Ireland doesnt want to support Ulster-2 fianancially and England doesnt want to, because it's a constant drain, trying to remove bases, keep the place protected and stable, support education etc.

The advantages to leaving it as it is are huge compared to what would happen if it became "One Ireland".

Did they have the right to deliberately target innocent civilians by planting a bomb in the middle of a shopping centre timed to go off at it's busiest time?
