Hey guys,

So I just installed a third drive (have SSD & HDD, just installed a second HDD)

It's not showing up under My Computer though, just my usual 2 drives.

Is there a step I'm missing? A windows setting or a bios setting perhaps?

Edit: It does show up in disk management like this: https://imgur.com/a/Nwu1Sni

Cheers

You need to right click on where it says Disk 2 and then "initialize disk". Pick MBR from the options.

Once that's done, right click on the black bar to the right of disk 2 and create a new simple volume, pick format as NTFS, and pick a drive letter.

Ah thanks sorted now - is that a standard thing to have to do? Not come across it before.

I used GPT instead of MBR as it was suggested due to being 4TB (or specifically >2TB)
