Noob question.

Sorry for this noob question but i am not sure.
i have a new pc with a crucial c300 128gb ssd. i have a new hard drive delivered today. I want to use the ssd for operating system and games/steam. Now i have my new hard drive i want to use that for everything else. Do i just plug it in power and sata 6 and windows will do the rest? i want to put anti virus and office on it. Will the anti virus run ok on it even though its not my main drive?
please any advice very welcome.

Firstly you'll need to use Disk Management within Windows to partition and format the drive so that it gets a drive letter and is accessible by Windows. Once you've done that then it's just a case of specifying a path on the new drive when you install the software and everything should just work.
