Since when do countries have their entire borders illuminated at night?
Thats some impressive stealth technology.

Yeah, it's genuine. Apparently the economy doesn't allow for lighting of the same scope as South Korea.
We never launched coverage in some countries because we simply weren't satisfied with the map data we had available. We're constantly searching for the best map data we can find, and sometimes will delay launching coverage in a country if we think we can get more comprehensive data.
Zing!
Yeah I was obviously being serious.

why would they use .com?
I'm fascinated by North Korea. Some of the links in other threads are eye opening to say the least.
I thought I'd check google maps and the entire country is blank. I know they are a communist state but it would be very interesting to view the country from above![]()
North Korea have had the .kp domain since 2007.Why wouldn’t they. There probably weren’t any restrictions when the site was registered. I presume a country level domain was never assigned to them and South Korea got .kr.
11. I want to know why North Korea has nuclear weapons.
After the US failed to fulfill the terms in the Agreed Framework by supplying two light-water reactors to the DPRK as compensation for the discontinuing of Korean nuclear power, the DPRK withdrew in October 2002 from the NPT and thus restarted its own energy-producing program, and then started to recycle spent fuel-rods.
The DPRK has a nuclear deterrence as a life-insurance to protect the motherland.........

I wonder what they think of the huge spike of clicks today on their website coming from the UK
