North Wales Road Trip & EVO Triangle

Think OcUK motors have learned there lesson and no one will want a repeat of the last big meet that could have ended up with a fatality.

RJ or nathwraith should get something planned. I don't live to far away so I would meet up with you 2 in stoke-on-trent.

What actually happened? Regarding a potential fatality lol?

And yeah would be epic once it gets warmer, would have been nice to have a few more cars along.

Not to pull it out from under the rug...

Darryn hitting a wooden post at high speed and flipping his Type R. Wasnt there but seen the video and it was a very nasty and eye opening accident!

Surely you seen all this? Not sure if you are jesting with me lol :p

No I was being serious. I wasn't there mate!

Doesn't sound good though. Although I have experience at hitting wooden inanimate objects lol.

Nice drive, awful pics :p

I plan on doing a lot of driving this year but on my lonesome. Hooning about with other people is a pain as there is such a vast difference in car speed. Others want to go fast when I want to go slow and visa-versa.

never even heard of this?!

It was like 2008? The problem was identified anyway: Toyo T1-R's.

I didn't think they were too bad? but then I am not a photography guru :(

You went to North Wales specifically to enjoy the roads and hit VTEC less than 5 times?!

Hondas: You are doing it wrong.

It may have been more than that, I may have underestimated that figure when on the evo triangle

I think he was fibbing somewhat....

Had a quick blast there myself today ( x2 ).

I was going to stop a lot more for photos, but I was enjoying the driving a little too much :) .

Nice - your S2K looks superb

that looks to be the same lay by that we stopped at :p

The first real drive I've had in her since I purchased her in December, so it was nice getting to drive her like she should be. I also by chance caught up with another s2000 from the S2uk forums and had a very spirited drive with them.

I commute regularly from Chirk to Bangor, so the A5 is my play ground, it always ends up being a choice of going home via the Capel Curig A5 or making a small de-tour and going via Pen y Pass/Llanberis. Defiantly can't grumble when that's my commute home :p .

Used to have a ITR and being 20 at the time, it felt a little more special and unique to own, and fuel being a lot cheaper then I used to just get lost in North Wales finding new roads, now that was fun!
