Global warming can just as easily cause sudden cold fronts to come in. Didn't you watch the day after tomorrow :p

point really is that the planet has been relatively stable for a few 1000 years, hence the rise of us. Over the last 100 years its been heating up, which apparently is our fault. However the last 2 years have seen quiet large DROPS in temperatue. Surely if it it was our fault the temp will be climbing all the time? Nope not at all. Instead we pump in billions of £/$/€ (which we dont have) to try and solve a "problem" we dont even understand and have nothing to do with.

My polish relatives told me stories of when they used to live in siberia. People back then really were a lot harder than us little whiners.

Siberia here, india there, chuck in some africa.

Crikey think the worst I experienced was -18 and that was just one of those huge industrial fridges where I never stayed long :p

You need a heated mask. Covers both the eyes, face and ensures that you lungs don't get -60 air delivered to them! Solves the frozen snot problem too.

Your eyes will freeze -20 with wind if you don't have goggles on. A mate wearing sunglasses had that experience when he ignored my goggle suggestion whilst snowboarding!
 
I remember being in -28 snowboarding once.

My nose started to run with the cold and then the droplet of snot froze inside my nostral....felt just like someone had shoved a frozen pea up my nose, not pleasant.

My gloves froze solid and stuck to the chair lift hand rest.....didn't realise until it was time to get off....slight panic lol

Wow, didn't realise your eyes froze at -20 already. You're in for blindness if you don't wear goggles in -60 then :(
 
Yeah, worst I've been in is -25 for 20 minutes in an industrial freezer in Asda :D. Shame I didn't have any gloves, my hands were absolutely stinging like mad, and I got a bad cold afterwards. :(
 
I remember seeing a minus 60 in Russia a few years ago while the BBC weather report scanned over the rest of the world. I just can't imagine it being that cold, crikey.
