Last week during boxing I was sparring with an amateur boxer and we had a good fight . . it was speed vs power. Anyhow we finished sparrin and he walked straight into me and shouldered my nose. It was the tip of my nose and it felt like my nose had broken. He started apologising and said it was an accident.
I didn't bleed and my nose was straight, however it was inflamed and bruised. Straight after I had blindingly painful toothache, the kind that makes you want to bite into something as hard as wood/metal. I didn't wear my gum shield, which was rather stupid. I was prepared to go A&E but after the last few visits it put off after the 5+ hour waiting time, which was time that I just didn't have as I had work.
The pain was present but not as painful as it was a few days back.
Today, I was sparring with the gym owner and he gave me solid hook that went into my should and straight into my cheek, near the jaw. Now the pain has become back and my nose has become even more sensitive. The toothache is really painful. I told him that it's hurting because of last weeks accident. He said "That was no ******* accident!". I'm pretty miffed and looking forward to tomorrow sparring if he shows up.
Now my nose is feeling very sensitive, when I make a facial expression it hurts and I've got a blinding toothache.
My question is, how are the two connected? If I touch my nose my top 4 teeth starting to really hurt.
I'm not asking for any medical advice. I have booked in to see my gp on Thursday. I shall be seeing my dentist to ensure everything is ok.
