Not sure if something is wrong with my Monitor or my 1070 ?

OK I have an x34a and a Zotac Amp Extreme 1070 ( no OC ), so earlier tonight I noticed a bright white square flash up in the top left hand corner of my monitor , its very quick , its done it about four times tonight, its about 3 inches x 3 inches , never seen that before ..ermm so not sure what it means...anyone have any ideas please ?

that model is likely to be factory overclocked, u could try turning it down to stock 1070 settings and see if that makes the problem go away.
is it just in 1 specific game/app or does it happen in multiple different programs?

also try plugging pc into different screen and see if it still happens etc.
