I was driving home last tuesday after work the same way i've drove many a time. It was raining down hard but had easyed off at this tme to a light drizzel. Didn't take road conditions into account and accelerated out of the corner, kinda lost my back end...














...anyway heres the pictures :p (very very very lucky to just walk away with a cut finger and whiplash)

Not with my wages going to look at a 1996 Clio 1.4 tomorow dont really wanna another 306 any better ideas on new car for less than a grand?

Yeah 1.9 Dturbo had no idea what to when I lost backend only been driving 8month dont think slamming the breaks on when I was hurdling towards the curb helped either :eek:

Nope, you did the exact thing you shouldnt do! As soon as you felt it, opposite lock and try to get a little power down. Inbetween those 2 it should have brought the back back in, but hard to know whether you would have ran out of road before you recovered it.

never ever slam on the breaks when your sliding as thats what happens. If the rear end went to the left you should have steered to the left to try and bring the rear back in line :)
