am i the only one getting this? ive got memory +cpu orthos stable but at times my pc hangs mid game sometimes at the menu then the sound loops over and over and a black screen. sometimes if im lucky i can get back to windows.
trying to load a game after that tho will bring on the nv4disp.dll blue screen of death
i noticed in my event log it said nv4disp.dll went into an infinite loop.
i see loads of forums with complaints about the same error and i duno if its a faulty batch of 8800's or driver issues :/
earlier i noticed the tabs for video 3d settings and display started to randomly flicker when i moused over them so i back down my core and memory overclocks which were 640/2000.
i dont think its overheating as riva shows it as 49c idle and 68c max under load for lengthy game sessions.
and i backed down my gfx to stock before and still got the damm black screen!
