Nvidia 285.79 beta - New PhysX version

cheers for link, will give them a go,

are people uninstalling old drivers/running driver cleaner ect, before installing new ones, or just run the new ones and let them uninstall the old ones??

Run the setup, choose CUSTOM install and pick the bits you want to install.

Click the clean install box at the bottom, no need for driver cleaner/sweeper anymore

Constant 60 FPS in Skyrim with these drivers and SLI GTX 560 Ti - Ultra settings, 8x MSAA, 16x AF :)

Oh, and only 1 Gb Vram, no lag spikes or microstutter, but according to a certain somebody, 'Skyrim eats more than 1 Gb Vram at 1920x1200' :D

Thanks for the heads up, I'll give these a test tonight and see if I notice any difference. :)

Edit:

Seem to be working well for me, noticed a couple more FPS in BF3 and the game overall feels a bit smoother. Noticed a decrease in temps too (could just be because the room is cooler though)

Have a quick question how come the Nvidia site only shows PhysX

Version:
9.10.0513
Release Date:
2010.08.11

http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/physx-9.10.0513-driver-uk.html

But in reality the latest version is

Version:
9.11.1107
Release Date:
2011.11.10

http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/physx-9.11.1107-driver-uk.html

If you click this link

http://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-uk

and then click

NVIDIA PhysX System Software

at the bottom it takes you to the old

Version:
9.10.0513
Release Date:
2010.08.11

Also this version is way out of date, there has been many updates since, why are they doing that ? Also is there a better way on their site to find the latest one ? If there is a better way I can't seem to find it, only way it seems is by people posting the link on their forums or here.

Thanks

Just to update, I installed these drivers and the new Physx, they seem pretty good and media centre is working correctly again, no more black screens, so thumbs up to Nvidia for sorting things out so quickly :).
