I'll be upgrading to an Nvidia 8800GTS 640MB this month and I was wondering with regards to build quality and good cooling what brand is best?

I was thinking Leadtek or Gigabyte but didn't really know what's best!

I would say BFG or EVGA were the best, but personally id just get the cheapest as they are all made at the same factory :)

Did you want a t-shirt with the card or . . . . . :)

Pick one you like the look of. I have a Gainward 8800GTS 640Mb, and the cooler is nearly silent.

Aye, from what I've heard as Meatloaf says it's all the same card, just rebranded later on and possibly tweaked slightly, such as pre-overclocked from certain brands. Although certain brands also offer stuff like lifetime warranties (BFG/EVGA) so if you could live without a lifetime warranty and a t-shirt that you'll never wear, I don't see nothing wrong with picking up a Point of View or the OcUK version :)

Mines a BFG OC but I haven't worn t shirt yet! Went for it because of warranty to be honest over than it being pre overclocked as all the threads I've seen people run GTS's at 600+ no problem. Depends if you hope it won't break before you upgrade, again mine was on special offer from a competitor so its worth a look round.

Leadtek as I thinks its loads cheaper, has been had for £205 from places. OCUK are about £221 last timei looked.
