Sorry if this has already been asked. I only have PCI-E 3.0 motherboard and 2700X.
Would the 3080 be bottlenecked not running at PCI-E 4.0?
Marginally, couple of FPS... More so at lower resolutions.

By a country mile!FE looks nicest/cleanest/most stylish.
3 years.Yeah I'm just going for the FE for £650. How long is the warranty for FE cards?
Look what I just found in the loft. How far we've come!
Worth a pretty penny especially boxed, check the usual auction site for completed prices.Look what I just found in the loft. How far we've come!

RTX IO, do we know if it will work at all with Sata based SSD’s, as in principal it can surely still load straight from the drive to the graphics card, or is RTX IO reliant on the pcie bus for it to function?
Just get the FE, guaranteed block compatibility that way.Another go - for custom WC loop am I better off getting a 3090 FE or something like this https://www.overclockers.co.uk/zota...dr6x-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-123-zt.html
For block compatibility. Are these other cards with coolers on still ref boards? Or are they different?
The Touring 2nd hand market is just utterly destroyed at this point... I mean who would buy a 2080s for 490 2nd hand? It really stinks to be stuck with these cards, however, people have been warned.
The FE is the cleanest design by far. The bottom left also looks good though, from this angle
I've got the same PSU but looking at getting the 3080, not sure its going to be enough
Guys if you have to buy a new PSU for the next gen (I'm only on 550W), would you go for 750 W or 850 W? There isn't a great deal of price difference.
