** NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 900 SERIES PRICE DROP!! **

I wouldn't pay £400 for an 980ti when you can get the 1070 at the same or less cost, and most of the good cards are still priced above £400.

The 980 at £300+, no one is buying that.

980 was selling pretty well at original price, now it will sell great. :)

Was being the operative word. Who is paying £300+ for a 980 when you can get the much faster 1070 for not much more, end of the month the faster RX480 hits at $199, 980/970/960 will be dead stock.

Another drop I predict.

Only a matter of time before the price wars on 980ti cards hit the competitors....

This is good news for the MM :p

980 for 315 is still to high though.

50 quid more gets you a 1070 :p

Now i cant make up my mind what i want :( get a 980 or 2 x 970s in sli...

At this stage should you be even looking at any 4GB card? I would like to think any serious gamer would never buy a 4GB when most of the new cards are 8GB.

none of the cards on sale can run hyper settings on the new Mirrors edge and newer games will almost certainly use more than 4GB regularly.

I assume to buy 1 Card now, then another in Jan/Feb 2017 (for SLI), 1070 would be the best choice too?

Yes, I think so. Unless you already have a 980 or 980ti. But if you're buying new then the 1070 makes more sense. Lower power consumption, new features, drivers, etc.

Good :), thought it would happen sooner or later. Feel sorry for those who have been pickng 1 year old abused cards up for £380 recenltly, oh and those trying to talk up the value of their own Ti's on the second hand market.
...waits for someone to say that this is a special deal price and the real price is still £499 so used cards still worth £380..... or something like that :).
Decent price for someone who want to Sli.
