As an Nvidia and Gsync user, I really really really want AMD to pull something good out of the bag with the 390x.

They have to, and very very soon, or they're screwed.

I hope who ever does the owners thread for the 980ti does a better job of it than the 970 and 980 ones, they became dead threads after about a month with no new updates or anything added to the OP.

The date is very plausible as it gives NVidia the chance to get the 980ti on the market before the AMD Fiji cards.

To be fair what could have been added to the OP, the thread got trashed when the 3.5gb fiasco came about and I sold my 970. I offered someone else to take over it or start a new one.

I didn't realise there was a set standard required for owners threads either. If you look at the 295x2 owners thread the OP is even worse.

OT if it's closer to 500 than 700, I'll take two but after I've seen some reviews/benchmarks. Not gonna jump the gun like last time!

Fair enough with the 970 thread. That still leaves the 980 thread and the 295X2 thread which deserved better.

I am not in a position to do the 980ti owners thread as I won't be getting the card (I will carry on using my older cards).

The 980ti Owners thread is going to be very busy so who ever takes it on needs to update it regularly.

I don't see it. They'll simply put the ti between the 980 and Titan X price wise. Why would they drop their own prices because of themselves?

You forget that they are not only combating the 980ti, but the entire AMD 300 series that will be launching very soon. (Gibbo already has stock, unless he was trolling us because they are all rebrands)
