**Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 Ti Review Thread**

What's the story with the OcUK reference card? If it's just another reference then surely it's a good deal?

It is a good deal, only reason most of us didn't go for one was that they aren't due until the 19th at the earliest (according to the shop). Plus I've got good past experience with Gigabyte, so I stuck with them after the EVGA fiasco.

Friend is teetering on choices on these cards, he runs a 1080p, 144hz monitor. Wants an "all rounder" card, so cooling and peformance in one. I've personally no idea but what is recommend? He was looking at the EVGA ACX 2.0 but not available where he is at the moment.

No real budget, just a good 980Ti.

Edited monitor section. Maybe overkill for 1080p methinks.

The MSI Gaming is the one I'd recommend. Good factory OC, great cooling, quiet and comes with a backplate. Relatively well priced as well.

Won't be due until mid July though.

No reason why he needs a 980Ti over a 980 @ 1080p, unless he likes spending his money. :p

Just told me he is looking into 4K, so maybe the Ti iss best for him. He is coming from a 780Ti btw.

I have 4K with a 980 and it's fine but if he's future proofing himself for a while then yeah get the Ti. If he stays with 1080p for a while then a 980 is more than adequate. :)

anyone hear anything about EVGA Hybird ? i have preorder on OCUK but other site now state that will be in stock on 12th June.

I was tempted to change my order from the ACX to the Hybrid once I seen the review, but I think I will stick with the ACX in case I want to SLI in the future. (Don't want 4 tubes sticking out with SLI Hybrid)

PS: I was told the Hybrids are due on the 12th and demand was low at the moment but they were unsure how many they will receive.
