*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

At this rate, ordering at 14:27 and being 51st in the queue for the Strix OC seems like it's still several weeks out at least. Makes me wonder how many earlier orders for other SKUs swapped over during that fateful week.

There is more than one card, so which one are you wanting the skinny on? The x4 iChill has the best cooling with an extra fan and two more heat pipes than the X3 for not much more money. A recent review by a Russian site found it was the memory generating the most heat (should be the same for all cards), two reviews have failed to make the card crash under overclocking conditions, and max heat was 77C under load.

As for not having heard of them before they've been around for a while and are very big in India and the Far East, you might remember the Herculez cards which they made?

One other nice touch is the metal support bracket included in the pack to stop sag which other manufacturers don't bother with, and it's probably the best looking RTX card out there at the moment.
It was the X3 I ordered.

Im sure everyone here who has a order in as of right now will get there card my end of Jan 21 at the latest
Judging by the queue numbers on the spreadsheet, we'd have to consistently get 20 ASUS TUF non OC shipped every day, including weekends to clear that queue by the 21st of January, and 14 MSI Gaming X Trio every day.
Every day that we don't get those numbers, increases the amount that we'd have to get in the following days.

I don't see that happening.

They're receiving a small amount + a very small amount of the 3080 Strix OCs today. If you're lucky, that'll add up to more than 51. Let us know if you get a shipping confirmation email today or tomorrow

Or what your queue position updates to

what i dont understand is that i am a member of an alert group and there is one EU retailer who get regular daily stocks of numerous RTX3080 cards in - for example just today they had a number of XC3 Ultras, FTW3 gaming, Ichilli x4, Gaming OC

all available to purchase but priced at a price above RRP that i am not willing to pay

My order confirmation doesn't say subject to availability, I think it's potentially an obligation. I mean, can they just offer one code subject to availability?
Pardon me my mistake, the actual T & C is "while supplies last" it isn't an obligation, a promise or ANYTHING beyond a promotion it's a bonus with limitations...

I did not see any specfical T&C regarding the codes. It was advertised with the cards. My email states i have ordererd a Eagle with the 2 codes so i would expect that i will receive the same - OC agreed to accept my payment in exchange for the card and the codes. What ever happens i will get my codes. the fact the codes are listed as being worth 0 on my order is irrelevant. the card and codes were a package and hence by taking payment they have agreed to supply the package

Pardon me again it says "Subject to availability" at the bottom also so we have been double warned...Google the Nvidia T & C's who are running the promotion (Not Over Clockers). If you feel that they are breaking the law take them to court and let us know how you get on...

What a total joke. Non OC were hitting 2ghz then crashing. Now they making an OC card that's underclocked.

If they just didn't use **** components and just made more than enough non OC they would be in the bank laughing by now.

You obviously have no idea how the Boost actually works do you, the Non OC was clocked lower and still hitting 2GHz on Boost, so why would the OC clocked higher not do even better.

Check Nvidias redemption page for T & C. Nvidia are running promotion not OC. IF they are breaking the law take them to court and let us know how you get on...
Under what grounds do you think you can take Nvidia to court? The contract is between the seller and the buyer i.e. OCUK and a customer. If they send an Email advising entitlement to a product then that should be unconditional and providing the card is ordered as part of the first 1000 orders a code should be forthcoming.
