*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

None so far this week although apparently some were shipped last week but it only would have been 1-4 cards. The Aorus UK twitter has said that Gigabyte Gaming OCs are due to arrive in the UK this week but we shall see what OCUK gets.
I have seen that cards are landing elsewhere 14th-16th and that would tie in with the pre-build notice on the OC page. Hopefully get an update today, tomorrow or Thurs. I am 163 in Gaming OC queue...

Just been on the phone for 20+ minutes to try and get an idea as to where my order is placed in the waiting list, just to have it answered and instantly put down fun!!!, since i've not had any email or anything sent out to me telling me where my order is

"Limit one download code per game per customer" so unfortunately yes. All codes are registered via Geforce experience and won't unlock unless the card is there.
But I meant the stocks lasting thing, would they be covered if stocks were just one code? Trying to make a point about whether we can be fobbed off without the code we were offered.

Have a look at the spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...LdTeJ2iLAOBR-yVURCgbsTn5LSU/edit#gid=60783727 it may give you an idea, going by order date and time and your order number against the relevant card.

the contract is with the retailer (OC) - the manufacturer has nothing to do with this

when i purchased i certainly did not have to tick a box to say that i agreed with the T&C of Nvideas promotion.

The website at the time of purchase (which i have saved by the way) did not say that these codes were only available to the first 1000 purchases.

the facts that the codes have a zero monetary value on the confirmation email is of no defence to OC.

I bought a package of the card and game. I offered OC £689 for the package - OC accepted my offer by taking my payment - they did not have to accept my offer.

OC have never formally emailed anyone to tell them that they will not be getting the codes.

I am 100% confident that i will get my codes.

also nvidea are still running that promotion so they would have some difficluty in arguing that their stocks have run out as they are still inviting people to buy their cards with the offer of the free games. Just print sceen people . why do people automatically feel that the big guys inevitably must have all their lose ends tied by by large coporate lawyers. its easy these days to issue a claim online if it ever came to that

A ray of hope it might come then. I was almost wanting it not to arrive before we see what big Navi has to offer.

This is a limited promotion not a package, has your card been dispatched yet? If not no contract has been formed as per the T and C on OC site. I am confident that you will receive your code also BUT if you don't as they have run out legally you don't have a leg to stand on. As soon as terms like obligated and contract are banded about this becomes a legal matter. If you disagree and take litigation via a small claims court let me know how you get on making a claim for something with no monetary value in a civil matter...

No contract exists between you and the Supplier for the sale of any goods until the Supplier has received and accepted your order and the Supplier has received payment in full (in cleared funds). Acceptance of your order will be communicated to you by way of email at the point of dispatch of the products. Acceptance will be deemed complete and will be deemed for all purposes to have been effectively communicated to you at the time the Supplier sends the e-mail to you (whether or not you receive that e-mail).

when did you order? have you not had a queue position email?
at absolute BEST i cant see it being more than 50, realistically, i'd imagine it'll be 30 or so, but doesn't look like we have confirmation that they came in yet.

So, I emailed EVGA Customer Support out of grim fascination to see what they would say about their incoming stock and wait times for their cards coming into the UK/EU... the below is their answer, probably winning the award for the most words ever written without saying anything:

Hello B14ckbrook

thank you for contacting our support.

We're glad to hear from you and your interest in our products.

Currently, we're experiencing a high demand of our products, which was sold out quickly after the launch.

Therefore, we are currently short of supply of it.

But new shipments are on the way and our partners will have their warehouses refilled soon.

If you have any further questions, don't hesitate and contact us again.

Best regards,

EVGA EU Customer Support

Not a surprise, for sure, but the absolute beige-ness of the response made me want to share :D

I've actually argued this one in court and it doesn't hold any water at all. Damages were awarded to myself and I won the case. It constitutes part of an unfair contract, greedy lawyers write one sided contract and fools believe themselves bound by the terms and conditions which aren't worth the pixels they are written on.

So they do not know anything really. No indication to how many can be produced weekly and who will get spoils of war.

chap? Why does everyone on this forum appear to assume that everyone who posts here is a male?

Taken from the OCUK webpage "With the iCHILL X4 the cooler comes with 8 copper heat pipes whilst the X3 comes with 7 copper heat pipes giving an average 33% increase from the previous cooler."

Be careful whose advice you buy because some of them clearly don't have a clue what they're talking about !

I compared the models earlier on Inno's website. They both have the same number of heat pipes and the same surface area. And I personally would rely on that more than OCUK's product descriptions.
