*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

I'm actually surprised with myself on how patient I've been usually i can't wait a day for new toys to arrive,
but i must admit im starting to get restless

Taking a long ass time to get a vision into my hands even being number 1 in the queue

Did we get an official word on what very small number means? I can't imagine a shipment with 5 cards in - very small is 25? small is around 50? I honestly have no clue.

Maybe it's just wishful thinking that they are sat on 75 rog strix oc

My response from ASUS about non OC Strix cards was as follows-
Thank you for contacting ASUS Support.

My name is Arsen and I can appreciate your frustration whilst anticipating your graphic card to be shipped out.

I can only imagine how excited you must be given you are actually able to purchase one of those. Stock is actually depleted everywhere and lots of customers are actually asking where to buy it from and they are not even on the waiting list.

I am sure you are in contact with Overclockers and they will duly update you as soon your item is on its way. Unfortunately, we do not have information regarding stock availability with us in the call center. The retailer will be able to advise you accordingly as soon as an ETA is available.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
So it was useless, brilliant

Small is 50 cards based on what Gibbo has said previously i suspect very small to be 10 so upto 60 cards coming today i would think

This is a limited promotion not a package, has your card been dispatched yet? If not no contract has been formed as per the T and C on OC site. I am confident that you will receive your code also BUT if you don't as they have run legally you don't have a leg to stand on. As soon as terms like obligated and contract are banded about this becomes a legal matter. If you disagree and take litigation via a small claims court let me know how you get on making a claim for something with no monetary value...

No contract exists between you and the Supplier for the sale of any goods until the Supplier has received and accepted your order and the Supplier has received payment in full (in cleared funds). Acceptance of your order will be communicated to you by way of email at the point of dispatch of the products. Acceptance will be deemed complete and will be deemed for all purposes to have been effectively communicated to you at the time the Supplier sends the e-mail to you (whether or not you receive that e-mail).

these are OC's terms - does not mean they would be deemed to be reasonable especially after they have held onto your payment for 4 weeks.

you would possibly have a valid point if OC had emailed everyone to tell them that they would not be getting the codes and hence offering them the chance to cancel the ordrer and go elsewhere

They have taken my payment and held onto my payment now for nearly 4 weeks - hence despite their T&C there is binding contract in place.

I know that any district judge would favour the consumer here over the retailer.

the code does have monetary value however irrespective of how OC describe it in the confirmation email.

I have placed my order today. It appears that quite a few of you are aware of their position in queue. May I ask how did you find it out, I could not find it in and of the mails sent post ordering. Appreciate the help.

I get excited everytime i get an email and then it's just spam and not from OCUK saying my parcel been dispatched!, either way today i find out if my card is coming or my new queue position... i swear if i go from 58th to 1st I'll be ****** hahahaha

OCUK sent them all out on email for all existing pre-orders, not sure how it works for new orsers

We got an email from OC, may take then a few days I expect as there is probably a queue for queue updates.

They sent out emails on the 2nd to those of us with orders then. New emails seem to only go out when the queue you are in gets a shipment, so when you'll find out depends on how long that takes to happen.

Why they don't send one with a new order, or even list rough the queue length on the webpage (say add 50 to it to keep people happy if someone orders before them), who knows. Would seem a better idea, but from what some people have been told even customer service can't see the numbers from this new queue system, so I suspect it is held together with duct-tape and hope.

All this fuss over Watchdogs 2, which looks utterly abysmal :D

Honestly, since I suspect they will launch a new promo with either AC Valhalla or Cyberpunk after the 29th, I'd kinda prefer one of those codes. This version of Watchdogs doesn't excite me any more than the previous ones.

If there are no codes to be had from Nvidia or OC and they cannot provide a suitable remedy i.e. your request for the code then the contract would be disolved returning both parties to the state they were at, at the start of the contract i.e. you with your cash and them with the GPU. This is the ultimate remedy...

If it was for a CP2077 code I would deffo go to court...Legion not so much...
