Yeh I ordered the TUF non OC on the 3rd and still ain’t received a queue email. Think we have more chance of getting the 4080 than a 3080 at this point

Non-OC TUFs are around 2000 i think

I think the sad thing is it's entirely possible they'll get 1000 OC Strix cards before any non-OC cards

Oh I agree. This is blatantly a soft launch to get out ahead of Big Navi which is announced at the end of this month and releases early November.

From what I gather the 3080 launch was more aimed at the consoles being launched because the 20 series didn't compete on either price or performance and Nvidia was watching sales on that front. £600 for a PS5 or Xbox, and no money for a GPU when it was announced later might have been the thinking there.

I think under the exceptional circumstances people who have ordered the non-OC version of the Strix should be able to switch to the OC version. (Yes I've ordered the non-OC and I'm biased)

I know you can't say where, but I don't understand where people are finding these cards. Did you order from a scalper or a retailer? Did you track down Jensen?
I'm Subbed to one of those stock informer websites and nothing in the past few days.

ASUS have said they are only sending out via air freight at the moment due to timescales, so volumes will be lower but they get the PR of delivering something.
