*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

I cancelled my order for EVGA RTX 3080 ULTRA GAMING just now. My Queue number was 27 so, everyone whose number was 28+, you should be updated on Friday with a queue number going down by at least one. I will try my hardest getting RX 6800 XT from the competition at this point. I wish you all good luck getting your cards! Stay Safe!

I see other retailers are doing COD CW with cards - are Overclockers going to do the same (?) though the MP servers may not exist anymore by the time OC'ers get cards.

no idea the ocuk buyer is currently in the garden section of the forum showing off his garden pics. Might be worth asking in there :D

Well my card from a competitor is due Monday. I should get cold war too hopefully.
What gigaman and Gibbo said is contradictory. I'll be glad to cancel and be done with this mess.

Breaking news:

Asus clarifies that the TUF in their TUF edition cards actually stands for Totally and Utterly Fictional and announces that all cards have been delivered. Any users who are not satisfied with the performance of their fictional edition cards should maybe try imagining harder.

:p

Nice play on words from my earlier post ;)

3070 release date 29/10/2020.
They told us before the 3070 release day 3080 x3 x4 x2 on the way and in Hong Kong waiting to be shipped.
Then turned out they are 3070 cards not even released that time...
How is this possible?
Back in the day I could have bought an RTX 3070 Big Happiness OC on Sept 15th for 200 quid. The Dragon Centre in Mongkok was a pc gamers best friend LOL.

So i managed to grab a chat with a Aorus rep who says ocuk had 3080 and 3070s eagles on the 30th of October,
He would not comment on numbers, but i suspect it was small and they made there way into Pre Builds if thats the case as no one here had one.

Classic, So just spoke to someone at ocuk, no1 has any idead about when any Inno3D 3080s will arrive. I am 24th in the que after struggling with a crashing website for 2 hours. so they have the times logged of everyones order.
i asked, "if there are no Inno3d cards coming and you have zero idea of when they coming can i change my card" - Yes you can change your card, by cancelling your order and going to the BACK of the que for another brand (most likely a major brand and be like 1,000th in the que cause they still selling preorders)

the whole 35 minutes on hold all Overclockers ads seemed to talk about was ther great customer care. i know they are having a hard time but if your still seen to be selling pre orders faster than you are fufilling those that have purchased already its pretty suss.

TL:DR cant really do ****, if u cancel ur order u just gotta pray to get somewhere else. and theres no help on the customer support notice. Also if u didnt get watchdogs code. u wont get one. they dont have any...

Got you covered... I have called CS and they have stated that they are not running COD promo as they were unable to secure a tidy amount of codes from Nvidia and rather than face backlash they simply aren't running it. Correct me if I am wrong but I haven't seen COD advertised with the 3080's on their site?

The fact that they were provided with a paltry amount of codes for WD initially adds weight to the paperlaunch debate.

Jesus Christ. Surely any human with a brain cell would take the codes and offer them to us waiting months for our 3080s. "Really sorry it took 14 months too deliver something you ordered on launch day, here's a free game to say sorry" Next they will be charging us for a queue update!

It's crazy that we have to look at competitors updates to get any idea of what is going on. Update on competitors site states they have only 458 in queue for all four Asus models waiting whereas I believe OC'ers has double that in queue for just one model.

Please pull your finger out OC'ers and sort out these people who have been waiting; if other retailers can sort it surely you can.
