Nvidia has enough love for everyone
Just not enough lube...

this is good news imho as in theory it means better scaling in production volumes, supply is one of the root causes of pricing issues for consumersIf you read the tweets,it appears the whole consumer range is made on Samsung 8NM. It is the compute GPUs which will be made on TSMC 7NM.

Unfortunately for consumers, this does not apply to Nvidia.
In what way does it not apply? The theory sure does.
+1, Nvidia are certainly going to squeeze us until the pips squeak, they don't know pity or remorse and they absolutely will not stop.Have you not seen what Nvidia are charging for GPU's?
My point is that they will hike prices to the max, regardless of supply constraints or not.

Lol. Some even like it!They don't need lube, we let em in dry, i thought everyone knew that

But surely Nvidia are not immune to market conditions.
They are only able to squeeze us 'until the pips squeak' because they have no competition at this tie or the market conditions allow them to do so.
Why are we all buying their over priced products then?
I would never buy something that over pricedWhy are we all buying their over priced products then?

Nvidia didn't get any of my money for Turing.
We aren't 'all' buying them. I did buy and sell Titan XP's in a daft double quick moment but two 980TIs and two 1080TIs were all stellar performers at 'reasonable' (in a historic way) prices. Obviously they were expensive but competitive with the competition. Then AMD, just like Elvis, left the building. Seems AMD are prepared to go back on stage with some new songs. But surely Nvidia are not immune to market conditions.
