3070 is still up, so clearly there's been a big increase in stocks or a downturn in demand.

Yeah not paying that price £679 for a 3070 is crazy!

The founders edition is £469 and available to order, last I checked. Do some Googling and you'll find where to get it.

Sorry to hear that. I just use a credit card (always for big purchases) and get like 1-2 months to pay it off before I get any interest (always pay asap so never have to pay interest), plus you get cash back also. So that way you could buy the card, then cancel the other one and you will have a refund way before any interest or anything kicks in.

Was so temped to grab a 3070 but don't feel it's worth the upgrade from a 2070 Super.

I think you misunderstood what I said. You NEVER buy it if you do not have the money in your bank account. You use basically make use of the credit card for free cashback and protection when buying. There is no reason whatsoever to pay a penny in interest. Only reason to not have a credit card is if you have no self control as far as I can see.

That's understandable but personally I prefer to have the protections of a credit card for online shopping, holiday's etc, If I can use someone else's money interest free then I'll do it, you just have to be disciplined.

Yep. Free money (cashback) and protection and improves credit score. What's not to like? :D
