** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES NOW ONLINE AT OVERCLOCKERS UK (3090 / 3080 / 3070) **

I thought so but wanted to make sure. I can't make my mind up whether to go FE or AIB.
I saw less of a reason to buy AIB with the 20 series and even less with the 30. NV probably spent a lot more on R&D for their cooling solutions than any AIB. Main reason to go AIB with someone like OCUK is the great returns policy, assuming that hasn't changed recently. NV can or were a pain in the rear regarding returns.
Some of the AIB cards at least look a bit nicer this time from what I've so far. Coolers looked cheap previously.

I'm not quite sure if I've got this correct but to me it would seem that ocuk are offering pre orders for the cards but are also saying that the current prices listed are not final? Also from what I have seen there is no guarantee on a delivery date? In addition to this it seems the 3080 is about 30% quicker than the 2080ti isn't that just what we would have expected from a new generation of card however this is not based off any reviewer benchmarks? Based on all of this I think people who pre order are a bit crazy?

you can’t pre order until release date. By then the prices will be set. Also reviews are out on release date

If i do buy one, think i may go for the cheapest one just time and buy a water block for it and set up a water cooling system again

Last time i had a water cooling setup was many years ago back around 2008 with my two 8800gtx's

Back in the day!:D

I’m going to wait it out until I see a 3080 with more vram. No need to rush right in there this time like I have in the past.

I really like the look of the FE but then I do like the look of the AIB's as well. Problem going with AIB I'd have no idea which one to go for. I can imagine trying to get an FE via NV will be a nightmare as well? I've never purchased a GPU on release before so this is all new to me. Are we expecting orders to go live come 12pm? Or will the be live early morning? So many questions

Manufacturers are still probably adjusting their pricing. FE will remain £650 for a long time. I’m tempted to just get FE this time.
well, i think i will have FE too, in my case upgrade to 3080 FE with standard clocks and OC potential probably much limited when compared for example with STRIX will be still a huge, massive super duper mega perf improvement , isnt it >

We still lack of stock info about this preorder and I just don't wanna wait forever, not even months like I had to wait with the 2080 ti at the previous launch (Msi Duke preordered on the competitor eshop), also because in a month or less I'd even rest without a gpu (being sold).
So I have little time to decide if to go for the FE or not (or, maybe try to get the 3080 FE first and only in the case of an unsuccessful attempt by the nvidia store to try my luck here, on the overclockers.uk store).
Btw, do we have an hour when the nvidia orders / preorder should start here in the UK?

Thanks for the info, at least it's not going to be a ridiculous early wake up call then to order one! I guess it's just going to be a case of get what you can rather than being selective.

FE for me esspecially if people are already starting to gouge and play silly beggars with the pricing.
AIB's and etailers shouldn't be so cocky this gen because they are up against a better looking and better performing reference card than ever before. Buying a partner card is nothing more than doing that company a favour at this point.
