NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

Potentially yes.

Unlikely, we would rather not hold on to peoples money for weeks, potentially months in a volatile market, the world is extremely unstable, prices could drop massively or go up massively, too risky.

Supply is very poor, I cannot see any reseller will have product listed in stock and available for days on end for probably another 2-3 months and am unsure if there will ever be a case where they are also in stock on shelf and easy to buy, like 4090 was, certainly not for months anyway, especially with more and more new cards incoming which production will shift too.

Though with EV car sales in decline, production may improve. :)
Are there any updates on the ZOTAC 5090 solid stock situation?

So as you know Zotac Solid 5080 and 5090 was the SKU they were trying to hit MSRP with, on the 5080 I believe they have EOL it as they were simply losing money (cooler too expensive) as such on 5080 there shall be a "Solid Core" version coming, though it seems even this won't be at MSRP but maybe close as the margins are tight. We have no back orders on 5080 so none of our customers will effected. :)

On 5090 Solid, this is an unknown, what I will say is if shipments don't happen but we do say get a shipment on 5090 Solid OC we shall simply upgrade all the 5090 Solid None OC cards to the overclocked editions at no extra cost to clear backorders, but we are currently hopeful Zotac will fulfil all our backorders in March. :)

In short if we cannot provide a back order, we will upgrade you to a better OC card at no extra cost in order to facilitate shipping, but let us wait as so far Zotac has only confirmed a Solid Core edition on only 5080 so we are hopeful the 5090 Solid will ship in more volume (we have 5 due next week) so that is a sign more will follow in March. :)

If the Palit Gamerock actually comes in for sale at £2,600 I'll be miffed. got that one on preorder and that keeps coming in to stock £450 above my preorder price.

I’ve had a 5090 solid on order with you from day one so thanks for the update.

Has anyone been asked to cough up extra quid in the queue for the other place yet now that orders are being fulfilled?

Haven’t seen anyone come back fuming as yet and I’ve sort of been expecting one or two…

I think they said they haven't yet in the announcement. That all said if card discontinuation is already starting to potentially happen some of those queues are looking rocky.

Any update on 5070ti stock/shipments? I see lots of talk about 5080/5090 shipments being received, haven't seen anything mentioned about the 5070ti, so am curious.

How much is that a markup from RRP? Could tell us what the 5090 would cost.

It's £217 more than I bought mine for and about £350 more than the 'original' price for this card (which to be fair is now probably impossible).

From OCUK, I would expect no less than £3k for the 5090 Astral, probably more :(

So it's a 26.3% increase from the original price, which if we calculate it for the 5090 Astral OC, brings it to an eye watering £3371, so my prediction is £3399 for the Astral next week.

I missed this, I read their daily update but didn’t see anything about the pricing
They added a FAQ section and one of the questions is about price rise while in a preorder queue:

As per the ‘order with confidence’ messaging it is possible that the price of a pre-ordered GPU could go up in price in the time that you are waiting. We the competitor are doing everything that we can working with our trusted partners to not need to increase the price of any customers pre-order as we understand that this carries significant inconvenience. Factors that could affect the pricing are a significant change in GBP to USD exchange rates, or brand partners informing us of a significant price change to our buy-in pricing. Unfortunately, both of these factors are out of our control. To date, despite buy in prices going up slightly since launch, we have not increased the price of any customer pre-orders instead reducing our margins to keep pricing fair. We will continue to do this where possible with the support of our trusted partners. For now, the only thing you can do is wait until you get to the front of the queue.

If you won't get Zotac Solid and you will get Zotac Solid OC and as you say will upgrade all non-OC back orders to OC. Will you prioritise current OC pre-orders over new upgraded or merge them in single queue ? Assuming you won't get enough stock of OC to fulfil both current non-OC and OC pre-orders. Just curious since that move can potentially push people waiting for OC way further down the line.
